Canvas LMS Unplanned Outage

UPDATE: As of 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, the outage appears to be resolved.

Users are experiencing slowness and errors when accessing Canvas in the US region. An issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented. The issue can be tracked at: https://status.instructure.com/

Tech Support Limited Hours During Spring Break

UWEX Technical Support will be offering limited hours of business during spring break. Please see our schedule below. All times listed are Central time.

  • Saturday, March 12 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 13 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday, March 14 – 18 – 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 19 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Please note that Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 13.

We will return to our normal hours of operation Sunday, March 20 (7 a.m. – 11 p.m.).

Canvas Outage 12/7

Canvas is currently experiencing some degraded performance and/or complete outage due to AWS currently experiencing an outage. The incident can be tracked at https://status.instructure.com/

Media Services Degraded Performance

Some websites hosted in the DoIT Web Hosting environment are currently experiencing degraded performance. Media content within Canvas may take a while to load. Canvas Scheduled Maintenance

Canvas will be undergoing scheduled maintenance at 3am CT Thursday, March 25th for up to one hour. During this time Canvas access may be unnavailable, and you can check the status of the update here.
