UW Extended Campus works with all 26 University of Wisconsin System campuses to support their continuing education efforts.
We provide leadership, support, and resources to develop select online degree programs with University of Wisconsin campus partners. Our program development services include marketing and marketing research, innovative online course design, student services (recruitment, support, and retention), media services, and IT support.
We coordinate funding and provide support to all of the continuing education offices at University of Wisconsin campuses through the Continuing Education Executive Council (CEEC), which meets quarterly and includes deans and directors from all of the continuing education offices.
In addition, UW Extended Campus is a member of the University Professional Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) which provides opportunities for partnerships with more than 400 continuing education institutions–including most of the leading public and private colleges and universities in North America. UW Extended Campus has also been recognized by the National Council for Online Education for completing the UPCEA Hallmarks of Excellence in Online Leadership Review program. The program evaluates seven key aspects of online education programs and issues digital badges, in partnership with Credly, to qualifying colleges and universities to mark their achievement.
