UW Extension Webpages – Planned Outage September 29

Several UW Extension CEOEL sites will be unavailable Saturday, September 29, from 9:00 PM until midnight due to a scheduled network outage for a firewall upgrade. Please avoid using the below sites during that time:

  • Independent Learning site (IL student accounts, registration, etc.)
  • LPV (Independent Learning Instructors)
  • BSN Registration site

If you experience difficulties using these sites outside of the time mentioned above, please let us know by submitting the form to the right.

 

GMAIL difficulties in D2L

10/1/18 UPDATE: This issue appears to be resolved. If you continue to experience difficulties resetting your D2L password, please feel free to submit a ticket and we will be happy to look into it further.

We have become aware that students using Gmail e-mail addresses are experiencing difficulties with the following tasks:

  • Receiving password reset links from D2L
  • Responding to tickets submitted using the form to the right

If you need to reset your password in D2L and your D2L account is connected to a Gmail account, please submit a ticket to Tech Support with a different (non-gmail) e-mail address and we will be happy to update your account in D2L which should allow you to change your password.

If you need to submit a ticket to Tech Support, please consider using a non-Gmail e-mail address for now. Campus e-mail addresses are recommended whenever possible.

We will continue to look into the problem in search of a resolution. Thank you for your patience!

Independent Learning Phone Issues

UPDATE: This issue is resolved.

UPDATE: We anticipate regular phone service to be restored to Independent Learning callers by 2 PM Central Time.

Independent Learning calls are experiencing difficulties within our phone system. If you are an Independent Learning student and need to speak with a Student Success Coach, please call 877-895-3276 and hit 1, then *. You will then be able to be routed to the appropriate office.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue!

Possible Outage August 24, 2018

There may be an outage of the below systems between 7:30 and 10:30 PM on Friday, August 24, 2018:

If you continue to experience difficulties accessing these sites after 10:30 PM on Friday, August 24, please submit a ticket by filling out the form to the right. We will be happy to assist as soon as possible.

D2L Outage 6/5/18

UPDATE: The outage appears to be resolved. If you encounter further difficulties, please submit a ticket using the form to the right.
