Student Services Phone System Down

UPDATE: The phone system has been restored.

The UWEX phone system is currently down for the Student Services department. Success Coaches are actively monitoring e-mail. If you need to speak with your Success Coach, please e-mail them using the program e-mail address you usually use. Thank you for your patience!

UWM 1Log-In Outage Affecting Canvas Access

Update: As of 3:15 p.m., the issue appears to have resolved.

As of 2 p.m. on Friday, October 25, UW Milwaukee students experienced difficulty accessing Canvas, D2L, library systems, and all 1Log-In systems. E-mail is functional. UW Milwaukee Help Desk technicians are working on resolving the issue.

Canvas Maintenance This Weekend

The Canvas site will undergo maintenance at 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, until about 3 a.m. on Sunday, September 1. You may be unable to log into Canvas and/or complete work during that time.

If you experience difficulties with Canvas outside of those times, please contact our office by submitting the form to the right.

****Our office will be closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 2, but we will be happy to assist as soon as we reopen on Tuesday, September 3.****

Independent Learning (IL) Examity Information

Independent Learning (IL) students may see two “instructor” options when requesting an exam in Examity. Per the instructions in your course, please choose “Examity Faculty.” This will allow you to schedule your exam. Do not choose the name of your instructor – you will not be able to schedule your exam.

Students who enrolled in an online Independent Learning class after mid May 2019 may experience difficulties accessing Examity.
