Tech Support Ticketing System Change November 9, 2022

November 9, 2022

Tech Support will be changing ticketing systems at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

If you have a ticket that was created on or before 2 p.m., November 9, you will receive a new ticket number via email. Please keep an eye out for that update and reply to that email with any updates or information as requested.

Tech Support Thanksgiving Hours 2022

November 9, 2022

Tech Support will offer limited availability during the weekend of the Thanksgiving holiday. Please see below:

  • Thursday, Thanksgiving (November 24): Closed
  • Friday (November 25): 8am – 6pm
  • Saturday (November 26): 8am – 9pm
  • Sunday (November 27): 9am – 11pm

Regular hours (7 a.m. to 11 p.m. 7 days per week) will resume Monday, November 28.

Canvas LMS Unplanned Outage

September 21, 2022

UPDATE: As of 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, the outage appears to be resolved.

Users are experiencing slowness and errors when accessing Canvas in the US region. An issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented. The issue can be tracked at: https://status.instructure.com/

Change in Tech Support web form email address

April 19, 2022

Starting Friday, April 22, the email address associated with the webform to the right will change. The new email address will be IT-ServiceDesk@wisconsin.edu. Please continue to reach out to us using the webform or the phone number to the right and we will be happy to assist you.

***If you already have an open ticket with us, we will continue to communicate with you via the oel-support@uwss.wisconsin.edu email address.

Tech Support Limited Hours During Spring Break

UWEX Technical Support will be offering limited hours of business during spring break. Please see our schedule below. All times listed are Central time.

  • Saturday, March 12 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 13 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday, March 14 – 18 – 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 19 – 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Please note that Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 13.

We will return to our normal hours of operation Sunday, March 20 (7 a.m. – 11 p.m.).
