D2L Outage 6/5/18

UPDATE: The outage appears to be resolved. If you encounter further difficulties, please submit a ticket using the form to the right.

 

We have been notified that the D2L site is down. We are looking into this outage and will post updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience!

Flex Password Update Deadline April 19, 2018

April 12, 2018

In an effort by the University of Wisconsin System to ensure the highest level of online security, all UW students, including UW Flexible Option students, are required to change their passwords. If you have not yet updated your password by April 19, 2018, you will be unable to access D2L, your student account in PRISM, or your account in the UWEX Portal, and will be redirected to a website to make this change.

You can find instructions to change your password on the Self-Service Password page of our Knowledge Base.

If you have difficulty resetting your password or are locked out of your account, please submit a ticket on this page and we will be happy to help.

D2L Outage Friday, April 6

This issue has been resolved.

3:00 p.m. UPDATE: D2L is up and running, however, users may find that service is somewhat slower or sub-optimal for now. We appreciate your continued patience as our technicians work to fully resolve the issue.

D2L service is unavailable as of  about 1:15 p.m. today. Users will see a notice about server maintenance. D2L Technologists are investigating the situation and we will provide more information as it becomes available.

D2L and PRISM Slowdown

April 2, 2018

PRISM and D2l  services were restored to normal function at 9:30 PM this evening, April 2, 2018.

Another update on network issue 8:15 PM: The connectivity issues remain intermittent.  Technologists from DoIT continue to investigate for root cause.

We are experiencing intermittent host connectivity loss at DoIT’s network, impacting PRISM and D2L with delayed  response time.

When this will be resolved is unknown at this time but we shall post updates as they are received.

UW Milwaukee Password Update

March 27, 2018

Beginning April 3, and in accordance with UW-System Policy 1030, UWM will begin expiring account passwords every 180 days. Expiration notifications will appear during the login process to UWM affiliated applications such as D2L, pantherLIST, My UW System Portal, EZProxy, etc., two weeks prior to your password expiration date.

If you recently changed your password (prior to this notification), you should still proceed and update your password to be compliant with the policy.

Please visit UWM’s self service password change webpage to change your password. You may also contact the UWM Help Desk at 414-229-4040 for
additional assistance.
