TurnItIn, a plagiarism-prevention application, is experiencing errors when students submit assignments. Technicians are working on resolving the issue. If you attempt to submit an assignment and are unable to do so due to the error, please connect with your instructor.

PRISM has been experiencing intermittent issues on Friday, December 28. Technicians are aware of the problem and are working on resolving it.

When IL students go to change their password in the password portal, some of them are receiving an error indicating that their username is not authorized to access the application. If you encounter this issue, please contact our office by submitting the form to the right.
If you are a new IL student, you may receive the error message after you have set up your account and click “Continue Logging In.” This is a known issue and we have technicians working on resolving it. However, even if you see that screen, you will still be able to log into Canvas, which is a separate website. Please follow the instructions in your welcome e-mail to access your course in Canvas once you have set up your new password and password recovery options.

Students and employees have reported issues accessing PRISM and other UW Colleges/Extensions sites like e-mail. If you encounter difficulties logging in, please try resetting your password by going to the password reset page and clicking “Forgot Password.” Follow the prompts to reset your password. If you continue to experience difficulties, please let us know by submitting the form to the right.
