Instructions on Changing Screen Resolution

For a Windows machine:

  1. Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen.
  2. In the menu then displayed, click on Settings and then Control Panel (depending upon which version of Windows you have you may see Control Panel in the first menu displayed; if so, click it).
  3. In the Control Panel box then displayed, click the Display icon.
  4. In the Display Properties box then displayed at the upper-right corner, click the Settings tab.
  5. On the Settings page, in the Screen Area box, click and hold the pointer and move the pointer to More.
  6. If your current setting is something like 720 X 526, first try 800 X 600. If your current settings is already 800 X 600, try something like 1024 X 768 (the exact numbers may vary on your machine).
  7. Close out of these boxes and then check your course to see if the expected control buttons are now displayed.
